How Good Are You, Really?

I am always amazed at the attention quarterbacks get. If you think about there is talent involved, no question about it. However, most people can throw a ball and read a defense. But the real talent in my opinion is the offenseive line. Their ability to shift and work protect their QB. The real highlight should be on them. If I were a QB I would do nothing but talk my line up. I would constantly be pushing them and praising them in public. They would know that I wouldn't be able to function without them. I will list only two diametric examples:

1) Rumor has it, (it may not be true) that Troy Aikman bought his Offensive Line some high dollar gifts to thank them for a great season. This is a small act that drives respect from people.

2) Ask my little brother sometime on how his state champion offensive line treated their quarterback when he refered to his offensive line as “A bunch of fat a$$e$ that can’t block worth sh!#.” That would be an act that drives malice and disrespect. For some reason I wouldn't be motivated to protect such a person. There would be no loyalty, no glory in any victory.
